1. Eligibility

The Salt + Light Movement Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of Cobian Corporation ("Sponsor"), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their immediate family members or household members are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited or restricted by law.

2. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins on January 8, 2025, at 12:00 AM PST and ends on a date to be determined ("Sweepstakes Period"). Entries submitted after the announcement of the end date will not be accepted.

3. How to Enter

To enter, sign up for the Salt + Light email list by visiting https://www.cobianusa.com/pages/salt-light-movement during the Sweepstakes Period. Complete all required fields on the entry form, including your email address. Limit one (1) entry per person. Duplicate entries will be void.

4. Prize

One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded. The Grand Prize consists of a trip to serve alongside a Cobian ambassador at a future Salt + Light event. Trip details, including destination, dates, and duration, will be determined by the Sponsor and announced at a later date. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of the Grand Prize is $3,000. Actual value may vary. No substitution, transfer, or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted, except by the Sponsor, who reserves the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value.

5. Winner Selection and Notification

The winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted on a date to be determined from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified via the email address provided at the time of entry within a timeframe to be determined. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond within the stated timeframe, or is deemed ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected.

6. Conditions

By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all respects. The winner may be required to complete, sign, and return an Affidavit of Eligibility, Liability/Publicity Release (where lawful), and any required tax forms within 7 days of notification. Failure to comply may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

7. Taxes

All federal, state, and local taxes, if any, associated with the receipt or use of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

8. Publicity

Except where prohibited by law, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes the winner's consent to the Sponsor’s and its agents’ use of the winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without further payment or consideration.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, which will be disqualified. The Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to malfunctioning of any website, hardware, or software, or for any human error which may occur in the processing of entries. By entering, participants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and their respective directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability, loss, damage, or injuries resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, possession, or use of the prize.

10. Disputes

Except where prohibited, participants agree that all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in San Diego County, California. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Official Rules shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

The Sweepstakes is sponsored by Cobian Corporation, 1739 Melrose Dr. Ste 101, San Marcos, CA 92078. For a copy of the Official Rules or the winner’s name, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to 1739 Melrose Dr. Ste 101, San Marcos, CA 92078, by 30 days after the end of the Sweepstakes Period.
