Respected big wave surfer, Aaron Gold, recently gained the attention of the surfing world after riding the largest wave ever paddled into, a 63 foot face at Pe’ahi. For years, Aaron had quietly yet passionately charged these monsters without recognition, until this historic day in 2016, as the dues he paid “underground” surfing had finally paid off. However, even with all eyes on him after winning the Guinness World Record, Gold’s goal was never for the recognition or glory. “To me, my ability to surf is a gift. It’s there to influence people and be a light to the kids.” More than fame or fortune, Aaron simply wants to use his new platform to help inspire others and spread the love of the Father.
